Teachers play a key role in helping children build a strong foundation for learning. TECSES supports Integrated Curriculum training implemented by Provincial Education Training Centres in Madhesh, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.
TECSES participated in the Second Karnali Daughters Conference (2083), which was successfully held in Birendranagar on 30-31 May. The conference concluded with the adoption of the 10-point Karnali Declaration, reaffirming a strong commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, and opportunities of girls across Karnali Province.
TECSES held kick-off workshops in Madhesh and Sudurpaschim Provinces to engage provincial and local stakeholders in the project’s activities, marking an important step in strengthening Nepal’s education sector.
During the visit, TECSES gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by teachers in Madhesh and identified teachers’ professional development needs.
Gender equality is a human right. It means that people of all genders have the same rights, responsibilities, opportunities, and protection in every part of life. A person’s access to resources and opportunities should never be limited by their gender.
